Sharing a little piece of the past… as my friend Anna wrote today: “This song was written in an apartment in north oakland on the fly. Melissa Sweat and I sing but it’s all melissa on this one (ed. note: not really. Anna and I traded writing lyrics and we were pretty much psychically linked); she wrote the melody and harmonica parts and parker is on bass. joe grove sent us drum tracks through the mail and we laid this down together.” The amazing Joe Grove made this video. ♥

LL’s Music Video for Kendl Winter (K Records)
I had the fortunate opportunity to play a show with the lovely & talented Kendl Winter in Olympia, WA on this past tour. It was doubly fortunate to hang out at Kendl’s houseboat later and show her some of my music videos—then she asked me to make her one! So here ’tis. I adore Kendl’s song, “Mama Will Buy,” and I hope the video captures the tender spirit of it.
